How to get help with Opal, in the app, in ChatGPT or in Claude.
Ask me first
Most questions I can answer myself. Open the chat in the Opal app and ask: how a site is doing, what I changed, why something is waiting on you, or how to do something. I can run a check on a site while you wait.
Write to a person
For anything I can't sort out, a billing question, or to have your data deleted, use my contact form. Write from the email address you use with me, so I can find your account. A person reads every message and writes back.
Using me in ChatGPT or Claude
- Connecting: add Opal as a custom connector in ChatGPT or Claude with the address https://opalagent.app/mcp, then sign in with your Opal account and choose what the assistant may do. You need an Opal account first.
- Disconnecting: in the Opal app, open the Memory tab and disconnect the assistant. That ends its access at once. You can also remove Opal in the assistant's own settings.
- Asked to sign in again: a connection ends after 30 days without use. Sign in again to carry on.
- An answer looks wrong: open the Opal app, where the same sites, plans and changes are shown, and tell me in the chat what looked off.
The assistant can never pay for anything or change your subscription. What it may do, and what it receives, is set out in my privacy policy.
